You want my advice?
I like recipe and work-at-home idea blogs. They inspire me to try something different; to shake up my routine. Craft-themed blogs are also of particular interest, because I admire the different creative ideas in photos. After perusing others’ blogs I’ve changed my other blog template to reflect a more visually creative side of me, which I’ve tried to nurture since my children have grown older and there’s more time to develop my talents. I also really love the challenging and engaging topical discussion blogs on women’s identity from a biblical perspective. Theology that touches the every day matters in my life engages my mind to find God in the midst of my daily routines. Discovering how Jesus treated women and learning about how women ought not be treated from some examples in the Scriptures, has been a true joy in blog-reading adventure! Reading thoughtful posts and comments from women who have journeyed through paths and shared their insights has inspired me to deeper investigation into the Scriptures and prayer. These people’s contribution to my spiritual growth has been invaluable and I owe a debt of gratitude to those many women and men who have helped me on my own journey. After coming out of some particularly bad “advice” from spiritual leaders, it’s been refreshing to find others who have encouragement to us who struggle with different trials, and share in each others’ daily victories.
